In 1988, God spoke to Henry Hinn to start
the S.W.S.M to build God's kingdom through the demonstration
of the power of God in this generation. Through this emerged
the Henry Hinn Ministries crusades which have Impacted the
lives of thousands of leaders around the world who have been
trained to be part of this powerful anointing to affect the
nations. Signs and Wonders School of Ministry became revolutionary,
training national Christian leaders to minister to their own
nations; Latin America reaching Latinos, Arabic speaking leaders
reaching Arab nations, Africans Reaching Africa, etc;
Signs and Wonders School of Ministry is different.
It emphasizes on heart knowledge instead of head knowledge
and the demonstration of the power of God instead of passively
learning. Pastor Henry Hinn believes the impartation of the
anointing that rested on his life would be transferred to
the life of ministry of the students. When these trained leaders
returned to their nations, their ministries exploded as the
new anointing flowed through them in salvation, healing, deliverance,
prophecy, and the ministry of fathers and sons.
For several years, S.W.S.M has been conducted
in Vancouver, B.C. with Pastor Henry Hinn and in Southern
California with Pastor Benny Hinn. The multiplied requests
for being a part of the Signs and Wonders School of Ministry
forced it to become global. Producing powerful sessions, the
School of Ministry is raising up anointed men and women from
all nations and cultures affecting them with the demonstration
of the power of God.
Personal Introduction from Pastor Henry Hinn
I am very excited for what the LORD is about
to do in 2008! It is truly a new day of signs and wonders.
We are beginning again the Signs and Wonders School of Ministry
with new topics and a vision for what I believe is the next
greatest move of God. We will reach a new generation with
power, anointing, and signs and wonders. I have truly seen
the LORD do mighty things the past thirty years and now we
are living in the greatest days of Elijah and Elisha. Their
anointing of impartation goes above and beyond. In the last
days, Joel 2 says “I will pour out my spirit upon all
flesh” and this is now! It is your lives and your season
for God to raise you up as a new generation that is hungry
for the power of God and willing to be used in ministry with
signs and wonders.
Recently, I saw the LORD do a mighty miracle
for a young woman who had been paralyzed from her waist down
for three years since the birth of her child. Unable to move
her legs, she sat among the thousands in her wheelchair. As
I was walking in the dark along the sandy field, I saw an
empty stretcher belonging to the young lady in the wheelchair.
I could barely see in the dark and as I came closer to the
paralyzed woman. I saw her hands lifted and eyes closed, worshipping
the Lord. Suddenly I felt the Power of God flow through me
in a different way, as if something supernatural was around
me. Feeling it flow through me, I put my hands between her
back and the wheelchair and felt a diaper down her spine.
I prayed for her asking the LORD to heal her. I placed my
left hand on her head and hit her gently on the back with
my right; she passed out. I immediately shook her legs; they
felt like rubber. Faith built inside of me and I said to the
LORD, “Are you with me or not? If you are, then let
your life that is inside of me flow through these dead legs”.
Suddenly, her legs came alive, and she got up and began to
walk down to the platform. Believing God for a miracle, the
woman’s friends faithfully carried her in a stretcher
to the service. She received her miracle and they were now
crying and rejoicing, carrying her empty wheelchair over the
heads of the people. This demonstrates the true Power of God
and this is what I believe is going to happen; signs and wonders
follow those who believe.
In 1988, when we began the S.W.S.M in Vancouver,
I asked the LORD to show me His plan for training and moving
people into ministry so that he could use anyone, anywhere.
He gave me a vision for the school, different from any theology
course; that would train ordinary people from all over the
world to move in the gifts of the spirit and learn the power
of anointing. Now, this vision has become a reality. The past
twenty years, I have seen lives change and men and women of
God have gone into ministry through Signs and Wonders School
of Ministry. We are making S.W.S.M available throughout the
world in churches and ministries that have joined by the internet
and DVD’s.
I believe in spiritual fathers, sons, and daughters whom
God is raising up to build His kingdom. We need today, more
than ever to experience the power of God in our lives, so
we can reach out to a hurting and lost world. Let us walk
in his power to demonstrate His love, so men can come to the
knowledge of God and the power that comes through Jesus Christ.
